Debbie and Paul having been living permanently at Cape St Francis for 20 years but have holidayed here from their home base in Durban “for as long as they can remember!” They share a huge passion for the area, pointing out that the irresistible draw of the raw physical beauty of the CSF beach, the nature reserves, the lack of commercialism, limited development of the area and the positives of small town living as just some of the reasons they have chosen to live and work here.
We commenced trading as Debbie Nicholson Properties 10 years ago and between us we have over 45 years of property experience – including residential property in Cape St Francis and Jeffreys Bay plus commercial, retail and industrial property in both Durban and Port Elizabeth. Having specialised for 18 years in the CSF property market , starting in a buyer’s market, living through the unbelievable property boom of the early 2000’s, then for the last twelve years the property slump and now the slow and bumpy recovery, we believe we are in an excellent position to provide a balanced overview of what makes the property market ‘tick’ in CSF.
The holiday rental part of our business has grown beyond our wildest expectations. Debbie says – “I started out with the goal that if I did the whole holiday rental job properly, our business would grow automatically as a result of referral and repeat business.” Ten years down the line, by necessity because of the demands, Debbie is now working full time on the rental business with a full time rental assistant and a well-trained core of cleaning staff, whilst the residential sales are being taken care of by Paul who has a wealth of experience in both commercial and residential property sales and management plus a financial background which benefits his dealings with both buyers and sellers.
Their joint goal for their business is to provide a service which is firstly based on a sound and specialized knowledge of both the area and of the business of property plus secondly to provide a professionalism which will shape all their dealings with buyers, sellers and/or property owners in the area.
Further to your Whatsapp and the good news.
Firstly, your efforts and service were really exceptional………kind of what I got used to with Debbie taking care of the property when we are not there…..J!”
Good day Paul. I hope you are well.
I just wanted to thank you once again for your great professionalism and all the assistance throughout our purchase of the land in Cape St Francis. It was really an exceptional customer experience. Thank you and take care. Regards,
Good afternoon Paul
I can honestly say, this has also been my most pleasant experience in terms of selling a property and thank you for all your efforts and time.
I will sign and send tomorrow morning, together with the re-signed resolution, as suggested by Niel.
I will ensure Niel receives a copy but will cc you because I’m sure in terms of municipal clearance, etc. you and Niel will also be in contact.
On the one side it is sad to lose the property because we had it for 32 years, but it really is a case of the distance now making it impractical and whilst sad, I am really pleased with the signed offer on the table (thanks to you) and we will certainly still visit Cape St Francis from time to time. My mom and I will be there on the 3rd and 4th of January to finalise the list of movable and remove all the personal effects.
All the best and we’ll speak soon.
